Arab Finance: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly inaugurated the second phase of the Ceramica Cleopatra factory in Sokhna’s integrated industrial zone, as per a statement.

Touring the facility, he reviewed the factory’s production capabilities and the expansion’s impact on boosting exports.

Chairman of Cleopatra Holding Group Mohamed Abou El Enein explained that the factory spans 7.2 million square meters, with total investments of EGP 25 billion.

The newly inaugurated second phase covers 500,000 square meters, with EGP 5 billion in investments and an annual production capacity of 80 million square meters of ceramics and porcelain, creating 1,300 jobs.

Madbouly praised the factory's expansions, emphasizing their role in strengthening production and export capabilities in line with the government’s plans to boost national exports.

Abou El Enein highlighted that the factory is fully automated, with manufacturing processes operating without human intervention.

He detailed the production stages, beginning with the press area, where raw materials are processed under varying temperatures based on product type.

The pressed panels then move to the digital printing area, where advanced technology ensures high-quality designs on ceramics.

During the tour, Madbouly observed the digital printing machines in operation and spoke with an engineer about their capabilities.

He also visited the oven section, where products undergo heat treatment before quality inspection, packaging, and distribution.

Engaging with workers handling ceramic molds, he inquired about their working conditions, wages, and housing arrangements.

Madbouly also reviewed the product testing phase, which employs robotic systems and artificial intelligence to classify ceramics into different quality grades.

He inspected the glaze preparation section, where raw materials are processed into powder for ceramic finishes.
