Egypt’s imports of Yamish Ramadan in 2024 reached significant values, with nuts and coconut topping the list at $124 million, according to data from the General Authority for Export and Import Control.
Dried apricots followed at $3 million, while Qamar El-Din, a popular dried apricot paste, amounted to $2.6 million.
Imports of dried plums stood at $2.54 million, dried figs at $2.2 million, and dried grapes at $0.8 million.
