Arab Finance: Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly met with Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir to review investment opportunities in the industrial sector, according to a Cabinet statement on March 6th.

During the meeting, Samir presented the key investment opportunities in the industrial sector, including production requirements and investment, production or consumption goods, which could localize several manufacturing sectors needed in the Egyptian market.

The investment opportunities also cover the sectors of chemicals, engineering, textiles, construction materials, and mineral industries, he added.

Madbouly has ordered the submission of the lists of these potential investments to the Federation of Egyptian Industries.

The meeting also touched upon several potential investment incentives, including granting the golden license, providing land plots in various geographic areas, benefiting from the Export Development Fund, and promoting these investments in the international markets via trade representative offices.
