Arab Finance: Electrolux Group is getting ready to sell the brand name Zanussi and other assets over the coming period, according to an emailed press release on July 20^th.

This comes as part of the Swedish Group’s plan to rearrange its global strategic priorities and focus on some brand names.

The plan includes the sale of the group’s factories in Egypt that manufacture electronics and appliances under the brand name Zanussi, along with the water heater factories in Egypt and South Africa.

The group will also sell non-strategic assets in a deal estimated at a total value of SEK 10 billion.

Société Générale has been chosen to act as an advisor on the sale of these assets.

The brand names set to be sold by Electrolux are Zanussi, Faure, Zanker, Rosenlew, Elektro-Helios, Zoppas, Olympic Electric, and Kwikot.
