China-based New Hope Group is considering setting up a feed production complex in Egypt, with $100 million in investment.

Egypt has earmarked EGP 15 million to complete the preparation of strategic and detailed plans for the development of 67 industrial zones in 23 governorates, Minister of Local Development Hisham Amna stated on March 18th.

Egypt’s Local Development Fund has agreed to finance 409 small and micro projects in 12 governorates with EGP 8.2 million.

Egypt’s Local Development Fund has financed 464 small and micro projects until the end of March with investments worth EGP 7.7 million, Minister of Local Development Hisham Amna announced April 10th.

The minister also added that Egypt seeks further cooperation with the WB in many areas during the near future, especially in the field of training and rehabilitation.
