The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Egyptian governoment have reached a staff-level agreement on the fourth review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF).

An International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission, led by Ivanna Vladkova Hollar, concluded its visit to Egypt on November 20th following in-depth discussions with Egyptian authorities.

Egypt received the third tranche worth $820 million of the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) $8 billion Extended Fund Facility (EFF) arrangement on August 1st, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly stated.

The fourth review of Egypt’s extended facility financing (EEF) program is expected to be completed between September 15th and end-December, Head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission in Egypt Ivana Vladkova Hollar announced.
