Arab Finance: Egypt’s annual production capacities of fertilizers amount to approximately 7.8 million tons of nitrogen fertilizers, 7 million tons of phosphate rock, and 4 million tons of phosphate fertilizers, the Minister of Public Business Sector Mahmoud Esmat stated on February 21^st.

The minister confirmed that the Egyptian fertilizer industry has maintained its important role in supporting the national economy, as it ranked second in 2022 exports, with a value of about $2.7 billion.

Esmat’s announcement came during his speech at the opening session of the 29^th AFA International Annual Fertilizer Conference and Exhibition.
