Juhayna’s Safwan Thabet, son released from prison

Arab Finance: The founder and former CEO of Juhayna Food Industries (JUFO) Safwan Thabet and his son Seif Eldin Thabet have been released from prison on Saturday after a two-year in detention, Reuters reported, citing a judicial source and a family member.

Safwan and Seif were arrested in late 2020 and early 2021, respectively, after being accused of funding a terror organization. The family has denied all claims.
