Arabian Cement reports 153% profit increase

ArabFinance: Arabian Cement Company (ARCC) posted a 153% Year on Year increase in its consolidated net profit in Quarter one (Q1), according to a June 14th financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange.

Consolidated net profit reached EGP 15,909,891 in Q1 2020, compared to EGP 6,298,929 achieved in Q1 2019. 

Standalone net profit stood at EGP 16,263,445 in Q1 2020, a 284% climb from EGP 4,234,229 posted in the corresponding period.

The company distributed a cash dividend of EGP 0.470 per share payable on December 19th to shareholders recorded on December 16th.

Arabian Cement is an Egypt-based company engaged in the manufacture of cement and concrete. Its products include clinker and ready mix concrete, in addition to Al Mosalah, Al Tahrir, and El Sadd cement.
