Misr Oils turns to profit

ArabFinance: Misr Oils and Soap (MOSC) posted EGP 16.034 million in its net profit for the fiscal year (FY) of 2019/2020, according to the company's July 28th financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange.

In FY 2018/2019, the company incurred a net loss of EGP 15.594 million.

MOSC achieved a net profit of EGP 6.502 million in the 6-month period of the fiscal year (FY) 2019/2020, compared to EGP 1.503 million posted in the prior-year period. 

MOSC is an Egypt-based company engaged in the extraction and refining of oils from plants and animals, and the production of soap and detergents. The company’s oil products include sunflower oils, corn oils, cotton seeds oils, soya oils, ghee, and butter.
