ArabFinance: The board of directors of El Nile Company for Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries (Nile Pharma) (NIPH) has approved the preliminary financial results for the period starting July 1^st until August 31^st, 2021, according to a statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

The company’s net profit before tax amounted to EGP 10.8 million during the July-August period of 2021, compared to a profit of EGP 19.1 million in the year-ago period.

It is worth noting that Nile Pharma previously reported a net profit of EGP 66.426 million for fiscal year (FY) 2020/2021, down 29% from EGP 93.384 million in FY 2019/2020.

Nile Pharma manufactures and markets pharmaceuticals, various types of medical materials, chemical products, and cosmetics, as well as surgical threads and medical solutions.
