ArabFinance: Egyptian Transport and Commercial Services Co (ETRS) (Egytrans) posted a 10.2% year-on-year (YoY) decline in consolidated net profit after tax for the nine-month period ended September 30th, 2021, according to the company’s unaudited financial results filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
The company’s consolidated net profit after tax amounted to EGP 10.84 million in the first nine months of 2021, down from EGP 12.07 million in the year-ago period.
Consolidated revenue rose by 34.3% YoY to EGP 200.64 million in the January-September period of 2021 from EGP 149.43 million.
Meanwhile, the company’s standalone net profit after tax recorded EGP 10.09 million in the nine-month period ended September 2021, rising by 11.5% from EGP 13.54 million in the prior-year period.
Egytrans is an Egypt-based company engaged in international sea, air, and land transportation services.
The company offers a wide range of services such as import and export, general cargo handling, dry cargo handling, customs clearance, warehousing, packing, and specialized transportation.
