Egypt Free Shops records higher profit in 3 months

ArabFinanceEgypt Free Shops Company (EFSC) (MFSC) posted a consolidated net profit after tax attributable to the parent company of EGP 46.63 million for the three-month period ended September 30th, 2021, up from EGP 23.38 million in the prior-year period, according to the company’s consolidated financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Total operating revenue stood at EGP 234.48 million in the July-September period of 2021, raising from EGP 142.67 million in the same period of 2020.

It is worth noting that the company previously posted a standalone net profit after tax of EGP 46.38 million for the three-month period ended September 30th, 2021, up from EGP 23.05 million in the prior-year period.

The listed company is an Egypt-based public shareholding company engaged in the import and sale of duty-free goods and consumer products.

It offers several brands and types of alcoholic beverages, tobacco, fragrances, and gift items.
