Canal Shipping Agencies adjusts cash dividends value

ArabFinance: Canal Shipping Agencies (CSAG) announced that the correct value of the cash dividend payment as per the decision of the ordinary general meeting (OGM) held on January 1^st, 2022, is EGP 1.2701160213 per share, according to a statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

The total value of the dividends amounts to EGP 254.012 million, the company added.

The company previously announced that the OGM approved the distribution of cash dividends worth EGP 0.81749102 to shareholders for fiscal year 2020/2021.

Canal Shipping is a subsidiary of the Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport that provides marine port services and shipping services to international commercial fleets.

The company operates four agencies, namely Asswan Shipping Agency, Assuit Shipping Agency, El Menia Shipping Agency, and Damanhour Shipping Agency.
