Misr Chemical Industries posts 17% profit increase in 6 months

ArabFinance: Misr Chemical Industries Company (MICH) reported a 17% year-on-year (YoY) growth in net profit after tax for the first half (H1) of fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, according to the company’s unaudited financial indicators filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
The company recorded a net profit after tax of EGP 96.48 million in the first six months of FY 2021/2022, compared to a profit of EGP 82.26 million in the same period of FY 2020/2021.
Meanwhile, the company’s revenue increased by 9% to EGP 270.56 million in H1 FY 2021/2022 from EGP 248.63 million in H1 FY 2020/2021.
Misr Chemical Industries owns a manufacturing plant that produces a range of chemical products including liquid caustic soda, caustic soda flakes, liquid chlorine, hydrochloric acid, and bleaching powder.
