ArabFinance: Alexandria Container and Cargo Handling Company (ALCN) reported a 14.80% year-on-year (YoY) growth in net profit after tax for the first half (H1) of fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, according to the company’s unaudited financial indicators filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Net profit after tax reached EGP 717.76 million in H1 FY 2021/2022, up from EGP 625.23 million in the same period of FY 2020/2021.

Meanwhile, the company generated a revenue of EGP 1.119 billion for the six-month period ended December 31^st 2021, increasing by 2.04% from EGP 1.096 billion in H1 FY 2020/2021.

It is worth noting that the company has achieved a net profit after tax of EGP 573.11 million during the period starting July 1^st until November 30^th, 2021, up from EGP 465.136 million in the first five months of FY 2021/2022.
