ArabFinance: Credit Agricole Egypt (CIEB) announced that its board of directors has approved the amendment to the cash dividend distribution proposal for 2021 earnings, according to a statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
Accordingly, the bank shall pay cash dividend worth EGP 0.74 per share to shareholders, instead of EGP 0.99 per share.
It is worth noting that the bank’s consolidated net income after tax amounted to EGP 1.609 billion in 2021, compared to a profit of EGP 1.37 billion in 2020.
Launched in 1996 and listed on the EGX in 2006, Crédit Agricole has subsidiaries operating across Egypt, working on commercial and professional services, in addition to thrifts and mortgage finance.
