Alexandria Container logs EGP 987.13M profit in 8 months

ArabFinance: The board of directors of Alexandria Container and Cargo Handling Company (ALCN) has approved the company’s financial results for the first eight months of fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, according to a statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
The company reported a net profit after tax of EGP 987.129 million in the eight-month period ended February 2022, compared to a profit of EGP 875.24 million in the same period of FY 2020/2021.
Revenues stood at EGP 1.54 billion in the first eight months of the current fiscal year, up from EGP 1.507 billion in the same period of the previous FY.
Alexandria Container is an Egypt-based company that specializes in containers and cargo handling in Egyptian ports.
