Credit Agricole Egypt’s OGM nods to EGP 0.74/share dividends payment for 2021

ArabFinance: The ordinary general meeting (OGM) of Credit Agricole Egypt (CIEB) has approved the board of directors’ proposal regarding the cash dividend payment for 2021, according to a statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on March 31st.

Accordingly, the company shall distribute dividends worth EGP 0.74 per share as of April 21st.

The eligibility in dividend payment will be for shareholders until April 18th‘s trading session.

It is worth noting that the bank previously reported a consolidated net income after tax of EGP 1.609 billion in 2021, compared to a profit of EGP 1.37 billion in 2020.

Launched in 1996 and listed on the EGX in 2006, Crédit Agricole has subsidiaries operating across Egypt, working on commercial and professional services, in addition to thrifts and mortgage finance.
