ArabFinance: Cleopatra Hospitals Group (CHG) (CLHO) terminated negotiations over upgrading a hospital in New Cairo as the pre-conditions were not satisfied to date, according to a statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on April 26th.

Regarding the agreement signed on December 29th 2021 for the construction, management, and operation of Sky Hospital for 27 years, CHG has already received the hospital’s building and is currently completing its construction works as planned.

It is worth noting that CHG was previously chosen to complete Sky Hospital’s project in line with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation’s (EGPC) vision which aims at starting the operations of the hospital as soon as possible to serve the petroleum sector.

Located in El Tagamoa El Khamis, Sky hospital is owned by the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund for those who work in the petroleum sector, Egyptian Natural Gas Company (GASCO), and the Egyptian for Gas Distribution (Town Gas).

Established in 2014, CHG expanded its geographical network in West Cairo to acquire two additional facilities, namely Nile Badrawi Hospital in 2015 and Al Shorouk Hospital in 2016.
