Alexandria Container posts 32.5% YoY higher profits in 10 months

ArabFinance: Alexandria Container and Cargo Handling Company (ALCN) has reported a 32.5% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit after tax during the period from July 1st 2021 until April 30st 2022, according to the unaudited financial income statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on May 29th.
The company’s profits after tax grew to EGP 1.476 billion in the 10-month period ended April 30th, compared to EGP 1.114 billion in the comparative period of fiscal year (FY) 2020/2021.
Revenue edged higher to EGP 2.123 billion in the 10-month period ended April 30th from EGP 1.917 billion in the same period the FY before.
