Egypt earmarks EGP 2.3B to pay salaries of private funds, accounts

Arab Finance: The Egyptian finance ministry allocated EGP 2.3 billion to support the private funds and accounts in governorates as per the current year's budget, according to a statement by the ministry on January 24th.

Finance Minister Mohamed Maait said that the sum are being disbursed in quarterly instalment.

He added that a total of EGP 1.6 billion was secured during the 9 months until March 2023 in a way that helps achieving job security and social stability for workers and their families in private funds and accounts.
