Gold prices surge on August 16

Arab Finance: Gold prices in Egypt jumped on Sunday, August 16, as the local 21-karat gold went up to EGP 6,255.37 for buying and EGP 6,189.45 for selling.

The 24-karat gold also increased to EGP 7,148.28 for purchase and EGP 7,072.95 for sale, according to Dahab Masr data at 3:57 PM.

Globally, the international ounce amounted to $4,377.6 for buying and $4,376.1 for selling.
