Arab Finance: The 7th edition of the "Portfolio Egypt 2024" conference will begin on September 30th, under the theme "Arab Stock Markets: Integration or Competition," as per an emailed press release.

The event is organized by "Al-Mal GTM" in collaboration with the Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), the Arab Federation of Capital Markets (AFCM), and the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Taking place at the Nile Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Cairo, the conference will feature significant participation from the chairmen of the stock exchanges of Qatar, Abu Dhabi, and Jordan.

The opening session will include notable figures such as Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk, UN Climate Change High-Level Champion for Egypt Mahmoud Mohieldin, FRA’s Chairman Mohamed Farid, the EGX’s Chairman Ahmed El-Sheikh, and Secretary General of AFCM Rami El-Dokany.

The event will include multiple sessions addressing various topics, including the financial market, opportunities for Arab market integration, and discussions on key financial market products and solutions.

Additionally, the conference will explore ways to boost investments in carbon markets and analyze the regional debt markets as vital drivers for both local and foreign investments.
