Arab Finance: Prices of basic food commodities and vegetables witnessed varied movements on Tuesday, August 11, according to data from the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
A kilogram of packaged rice climbed by 2.4% to EGP 34.70.
Likewise, flour’s price went up by 0.8% to EGP 26 per kilogram.
Sugar rose by 0.1% to EGP 33.70 per kilogram, while a kilogram of sunflower oil dropped by 0.9% to EGP 100.60.
In the vegetables segments, price of tomatoes edged up by 0.6% to EGP 19.60 per kilogram.
Meanwhile, the price of potatoes fell by 2.6% to EGP 20.10 per kilogram.
