Arab Finance: Prices of basic food commodities and vegetables fluctuated on Wednesday, August 5, according to data from the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
Packaged rice fell by 1.4% to EGP 34.2 per kilogram, while the flour increased by 1.7% to EGP 27 per kilogram.
Sugar rose by 2.2% to EGP 34.9 per kilogram, whereas pasta went down by 0.2% to EGP 32.5 per kilogram.
Meanwhile, the sunflower oil prices remained stable at around EGP 101.8 per kilogram.
Tomatoes were priced at EGP 18.2 per kilogram, rising by 4.7% daily.
Potatoes amounted to EGP 20 per kilogram, with a 1% daily drop.
