Egypt silver tracks global surge, prices higher on Monday

Arab Finance: Silver prices rose in Egypt on Monday, tracking gains in the global market, data from local gold and jewelry platform Isagha showed.

By 2:55 pm, the price of 999-karat silver increased to EGP 147 per gram for buying and EGP 152 for selling.

The price of 925-karat silver rose to EGP 136.25 for purchasing and EGP 140.75 for selling.

On the global market, the silver ounce climbed to $80.056 for buying and $80.182 for selling, from $77.9 and $78.12, respectively, on Sunday.
