USD below EGP 52 at local banks on September 17

Arab Finance: The USD weakened against the Egyptian pound on Thursday, September 17, trading below EGP 52 at local banks.

The exchange rate between the two currencies hit EGP 51.99 for buying and EGP 52.09 for selling at Banque Misr and the National Bank of Egypt (NBE).

At the Commercial International Bank (CIB), the USD was quoted at EGP 52 for purchasing and EGP 52.1 for selling.

The dollar registered EGP 51.95 for buying and EGP 52.05 for selling at the United Bank and Al Baraka Bank.
