USD above EGP 52 at local banks on September 29

Arab Finance: The US dollar rose against the Egyptian pound on Tuesday, September 29, hitting EGP 52.07 for buying and EGP 52.17 for selling at the Commercial International Bank (CIB).

At Banque Misr, the dollar was quoted at EGP 52.08 for purchase and EGP 52.18 for sale as of 12:58 pm.

The USD traded at EGP 52.07 for buying and EGP 52.17 for selling at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) at 2:21 pm.

Meanwhile, the exchange rate stood at EGP 52.15 for purchase and EGP 52.25 for sale at the United Bank.
