Arab Finance: The Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade will form a higher committee in the coming days to monitor the prices of unsubsidized bread in the light of fluctuations in flour prices and cost elements, minister Ali Moselhy announced on April 16^th.

The committee meetings will be held monthly to determine the prices, weights, and quality control specifications for bread, the minister said.

Moselhy also pointed out that flour prices have dropped by nearly 35% to EGP 18 per kilogram from EGP 28, after the government secured USD liquidity and the recent customs releases.
