The Egyptian government has allocated EGP 1.65 trillion for investments during the upcoming fiscal year (FY) 2023/24 of which EGP 1.05 trillion for public investments and EGP 600 billion for private one.
In addition, allocations for health, education and social services amounted to EGP 436 billion and EGP 273 billion for urban development.
The country has also dedicated a sum of EGP 116.6 billion to support agriculture and EGP 100.7 billion for transformative industries.
A total of EGP 83.4 billion and EGP 81.4 billion have been earmarked for investments in the telecommunication and electricity and renewable energy sectors, respectively.
