Number of Licensed Vehicles Fell in 2022

A total of 9.9 million vehicles were licensed in Egypt during 2022, a 9.2% year-on-year (YoY) plunge from 10.9 million licensed vehicles in 2021.
In 2022, a total of 2.6 million were licensed in Cairo governorate, 1.3 million in Giza and 72,000 in Alexandria, according to CAPMAS.
