In the past four years, Egypt and the European Union (EU) have forged a partnership, marked by substantial financial support totaling $12.8 billion, as per data from the Ministry of International Cooperation.
This funding has been allocated with $7.3 billion to the government and $5.5 billion to the private sector.
In June, Egypt signed a total of 29 agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) worth €49 billion with the companies affiliated with the EU during the Egypt-EU Investment Conference.
Trade exchange between Egypt and the EU was valued at around €32.6 billion in 2023.
