Top Female Labor Force Participation in Arab World in 2023

In 2023, Qatar leads the Arab world in female labor force participation with 64.1%, followed by the UAE at 55.35%, and Kuwait at 47.6%, according to the World Bank.

Egypt ranks 17th in the region with a female labor force participation rate of 16.45%.

The unemployment rate in Egypt declined to 6.7% in the first quarter (Q1) of 2024 from 6.9% in the last quarter of 2023.
