Arab Finance: Upper Egypt Mills Company (UEFM) has reported a 33.68% year-on-year (YoY) surge in standalone net profits after tax in the first half (H1) of the fiscal year (FY) 2023/2024, according to a filing on February 12th.
Standalone net profits came in at EGP 81.709 million, up from EGP 61.121 million.
Meanwhile, total operation revenues hit EGP 192.048 billion during the July-December period, compared to EGP 211.536 million in the first six months of FY 2022/2023.
Upper Egypt Mills is primarily involved in the manufacturing, processing, import, export, warehousing, and distribution of different types of grains and grain derivatives.
