Arab Finance: Minister of Planning and Economic Development and Chairperson of the Sovereign Fund of Egypt (TSFE) Hala Elsaid held a meeting with Minister of Culture Nevine El-Kelany to discuss proposed strategies for maximizing the utilization of assets owned by the Ministry of Culture, as per a statement.

Elsaid said that the TSFE seeks, according to its establishment decision, to work on maximizing the utilization of state-owned assets and maximizing the returns from them.

The fund is currently studying a group of assets owned by the Ministry of Culture in Cairo and other governorates to develop a strategy for their optimal use.

Elsaid emphasized that all assets under study by the TSFE are not historical or listed within the records of cultural heritage as most of them are buildings that were constructed years ago and no longer serve their original purpose
