Arab Finance: The National Bank of Egypt, the country's largest government bank, has removed the cap on credit card usage for international transactions, Asharq Business reported.
Under the new policy, bank customers, both inside and outside Egypt, now have the flexibility to request increased credit limits in foreign currencies, whether for local use or during overseas travel.
Depending on the card type, the revised limits now range from EGP 5,000 to a maximum of EGP 60,000.
It is worth noting that the limits were previously capped at a range from EGP 5,000 to EGP 20,000.
