Arab Finance: The Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) and the Egyptian Marine Supply and Contracting Co. have signed a contract for waste management services with Antipollution Egypt, as per a statement.
This collaboration aims to strengthen sustainable practices and expand service offerings to ships transiting the canal's northern side.
Plans include expanding operations to cover both northern and southern canal sides in collaboration with the SCZone and the Red Sea Ports Authority.
Antipollution Egypt, a joint venture comprising the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) and Greek partners, aims to enhance logistical services by adding solid and liquid waste management services for ships crossing the canal.
