Arab Finance: The 7th edition of the 'Portfolio Egypt 2024' Conference will take place on September 30 at the Nile Ritz-Carlton Hotel, gathering key figures from the financial and governmental sectors, according to an emailed press release.
Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, has been confirmed as one of the prominent speakers at the event.
She will be joined by leaders from Misr for Central Clearing, Depository, and Registry, UAE's BHM Capital, the Voluntary Carbon Market, CI Capital, and Beltone Holding.
The event will also see participation from, CEO of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Acting CEO of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) Abdulaziz Al Emadi, and CEO of Amman Stock Exchange – Jordan Mazen Wathaifi.
High-profile Egyptian officials, including Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk, UN Climate Change High-Level Champion for Egypt Mahmoud Mohieldin, Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) Mohamed Farid, and Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) Ahmed El-Sheikh, will also attend.
The conference will feature four sessions that cover topics such as opportunities for integration among Arab stock exchanges, capital market products, carbon markets, and the future of debt markets in the region.
