Arab Finance: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has underlined the need to continue adopting fiscal discipline measures in the public budget to improve economic performance, according to a cabinet statement on March 13th.

The premier made his remarks during a meeting with Finance Minister Mohamed Maait to review the financial status report for the public budget of the next fiscal year (FY) 2023/2024.

Deputy chairman of the Egyptian House of Representatives' Budget Committee Yasser Omar said that the Egyptian government is close to finalizing the draft budget for the next FY, which is set to be referred to the House of Representatives in the last week of March, according to Ahram Online on March 12^th.
