Madbouly declares October 9th as paid holiday for October 6th War anniversary

Arab Finance: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced Thursday, October 9th, as an official paid holiday to celebrate the anniversary of the 6th of October War victory, according to a statement.

The decision applies to employees in ministries, government agencies, municipalities, and public business sector companies.

It is worth highlighting that the Egyptian government has moved several mid-week public holidays to the nearest Thursday since 2020 to create long weekends, except for major religious holidays and Labor Day.
