Arab Finance: Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture has released 150,000 tons of corn and soybeans fodders worth around $72 million during the first week of January, agriculture minister El-Sayed Al-Quseir said in a statement on January 11th .
He added that the release included 113,000 tons of corn worth about $41 million and 37,000 tons of soybeans worth about $28 million, as well as feed additives worth about $3 million.
This brings the total released fodders during the period from October 16th to January 10th to 1.864 million tons at a value of $ 928 million, including 1.296 million tons of corn, 568,000 tons of soybeans and feed additives.
This came within the framework of the Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly directives regarding the follow-up of the release of production requirements.
