Arab Finance: The General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) has launched a tender for the purchase of about 30,000 to 60,000 tons of wheat at sight, according to the authority announced on its website on January 6th.
GASC is seeking cargoes of soft white wheat, red winter wheat, or hard wheat from the US North pacific and Canadian soft wheat cargoes, GASC’s Vice Chairman stated.
The authority is also seeking supplies of Bulgarian milling wheat, French milling wheat, Polish wheat, German milling wheat, UK milling wheat, Australian standard white wheat, Romanian milling wheat, Ukrainian milling wheat, Russian milling wheat, Hungarian milling wheat, Serbian milling wheat, and/or Paraguayan milling wheat, GASC stated.
The shipping will be during the period from February 10th to 25th and the deadline for receiving bids from suppliers will be on Tuesday, January 10th.
