Arab Finance: Egyptian Gulf Bank (EG Bank) (EGBE) recorded a consolidated net profit with a 21% year-on-year (YoY) increase for the full-year of 2022, according to a statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Wednesday.
The company’s consolidated profit after tax rose to EGP 845.831 million for the period ended December 31st 2022, from EGP 700.822 million a year earlier.
Furthermore, standalone net profit after tax rose to EGP 855.526 million last year, from EGP 695.658 million in 2021.
EG Bank is engaged in the provision of corporate, retail, and investment banking services through a network of 16 branches located across Egypt.
