Egypt tops Arab countries in Wind, Solar Energy production

Global Energy Monitor, a San Francisco-based non-governmental organization which catalogs fossil fuel and renewable energy projects worldwide, showed Egypt topping the Arab countries in the fields of wind and solar energy production with 3.5 gigawatt, followed by the UAE with 2.6 gigawatt. Morocco was the third with 1.9 gigawatt and Jordan fourth with 1.7 gigawatt. Saudi Arabia was the fifth with 0.8 gigawatt.
