The Energy Transition index (ETI) for 2021 showed Sweden topping the list with global average score of 79%, while Norway was the second with 77% global average score. Denmark secured the third place with 76% global average score. Egypt ranked 6th in the MENA region and the 76th globally with 55% global average score. The report is published by the World Economic Forum (WEF), and prepared in collaboration with the Irish-American professional services company Accenture to track nations on the current performance of their energy systems across various aspects.
