Egypt Leads North Africa in 2022 FDI Inflows

Egypt ranked first in North Africa for foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows in 2022, receiving a total of $11.4 billion, with a growth rate of 123%, according to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development.

Egypt accounted for 75.8% of total FDI flows received in the North African region.

Morocco came in the second place, followed by Algeria.
