Global Rating Agencies Downgrade Egypt’s Credit Rating

Fitch Ratings downgraded Egypt’s Long-Term Foreign-Currency Issuer Default Rating (IDR) to ‘B-’ from ‘B’, with a stable outlook. 

Also, S&P Global Ratings downgraded Egypt’s long-term foreign and local currency sovereign credit ratings to “B-“ from “B”, with a stable outlook. 

Moody’s Investors Services has lowered Egypt’s long-term foreign- and local-currency issuer ratings to Caa1 from B3, with a stable outlook.
