Egypt’s Medical Exports Jump in 2022

Egypt’s medical exports soared 38.8% in year-on-year (YoY) in 2022 hitting $968 million, up from $697 million in 2021, according to a report from the Egyptian Export Council for Medical Industries.

The medical and pharmaceutical exports of Egypt have seen a remarkable increase over the past three years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Head of the Export Council of Medical industries (ECMI) said.
