Since 1979, the European Investment Bank (EIB) has contributed significantly to Egypt's development, with a finance total of €13.7 billion, as per data from Egypt’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
Over the past four years alone, the EIB has notably increased its support to Egypt's private sector, providing $2.8 billion in finance, alongside a substantial commitment of $1.896 billion towards developmental projects.
Also, the EIB's commitment to Egypt's Nexus of Water, Food, and Energy (NWFE) program stands at €4 billion.
